This Privacy Policy explains how City Publications Atlanta handles personal information submitted through City Pub Club event pages, RSVP forms, invitation links, RSVP management links, and related event communications.
2. Information we collect
Depending on the event and how you interact with City Pub Club, we may collect:
- Your first and last name, email address, company, RSVP response, party size, guest names and guest email addresses.
- Dietary, accessibility, or other event-related notes that you choose to provide.
- Event, session, waitlist, attendance, and RSVP-management information.
- Operational records such as timestamps, status changes, invitation activity, and technical records needed to operate and secure the RSVP system.
3. How we use information
We use City Pub Club information to administer events, confirm or update RSVPs, manage event capacity and waitlists, send event and calendar communications, provide support, maintain event records, prevent misuse, and improve event operations.
We may also use information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect our systems or participants, or resolve a dispute. City Pub Club RSVP information is not intended to enroll you in unrelated marketing simply because you RSVP; any separate marketing use should be based on an appropriate permission or other lawful basis.
4. Guests you add
If you submit information about another guest, you are responsible for providing information you are authorized to share. When a guest email is provided, that guest may receive their own event confirmation or calendar invitation.
5. Service providers and platforms
City Pub Club may use service providers and technology platforms to operate the event system, including Google Workspace services such as Apps Script, Sheets, Gmail, and Google Calendar, as well as the website hosting provider. These providers may process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy practices.
6. Calendar and external links
When you choose an “Add to Calendar” option or follow an external link, you may interact with a third-party service such as Google, Microsoft, or Apple. Information you send to those services is also subject to their privacy terms.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
The City Pub Club site is designed primarily to provide event information and RSVP functionality. We do not currently include advertising pixels in this City Pub Club codebase. Hosting, browser, or third-party services may still use essential technical storage or cookies as part of delivering their services.
8. Data retention
We retain event and RSVP information for as long as reasonably necessary for event administration, recordkeeping, support, security, and legitimate business needs, unless a longer period is required by law. Retention may vary by event and record type.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect City Pub Club information. No online service, email system, or data storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. Your choices and requests
You may contact us to ask about your City Pub Club RSVP information, request a correction, or ask whether information can be deleted, subject to records we may need to keep for legitimate business or legal reasons.
11. Children
City Pub Club is intended for business and community event participation and is not designed to collect personal information from children as its primary audience.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our event practices, technology, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
